The online scheduling of the appointment is a bit clunky to use (it appears to be run by a vendor and not MINI) and had the incorrect address for the service department.     "I dropped my car off in the morning and was promptly told before the car was examined that it wouldn't be ready that day. I was called towards the end of the next day that the car was ready. I picked it yup the following day with an unacceptable explanation for what the problem was. Two days later the same warning light came on, and now tomorrow 1/30 I have to bring the car back in to be checked out with no loaner car at my disposal.     "We needed an oil change and a replacement part (directional signal). We did our best to tell the scheduling lady what part we needed when we made the appointment, so that you could order the part and have it there when we brought in the car. She didn't seem to want to hear it; she just wanted to slot us into a time. So, we brought in the car and the next day we were called to say you don't have the part. It's been two weeks and still no part. Also, the lady who did the intake told us you'd do the oil change, and then called later that day to say you wouldn't do the oil change (due to something having to do with it being two weeks before the annual servicing?). We had to tell her that this WAS the annual servicing, that two weeks early didn't seem like such a big deal to us, and and to please do the oil change.     "I was very happy with my experience. This is my first Mini (and my first car ever) and second year of ownership. I do not drive very often - thus this is only the 2nd time I have done an oil filter change on my car. I went to Pep Boys the first time for the convenience (a few minutes away from my house and they advertise getting it done in something like 29 minutes) even though I know that Mini maintenance is free. The Pep Boys experience was awful even though it was a simple job. Next time I vowed to go to Mini for my maintenance. I bought my car in Ramsey, which is a bit of a drive from my house. Since Mini NYC is closer, I went there for service. It was super convenient, great service and I didn't have to worry about a thing.     "firstly, i appreciate you guys taking my car on short notice (same day). i initially brought my car in to have winter tires put on. I also asked to have my armrest put back on after it fell off and have the car detailed. I was quickly notified the tire rims did not fit on this car (they did for my 2007 mini i used to have). So i asked for a quote to take the tires off of those rims and put them on new rims. the rep said those tires wont fit on new rims and I had to buy new tires and rims. so I asked for a quote and have yet to receive it. the rep also indicated she could not find the armrest. I told her where it was but she still could not find it (pocket behind seat). So the armrest wasn't repaired either. I was able to get the car detailed though. the car tells me everyday my tires are low on air and it still is doing the same thing after service. So the main point of me bringing in the car (to winterize my car since the cold air seem to reduce air pressure high performance tires) really wasnt dealt with nor have I heard from my rep since."   –   MINI Owner, Bronxville, NY Jan 6, 2012

    "The people working there were pleasant but once gain my car took a longer-than expected time to come once I'd checked in and paid. Also, I really don't like that I have to find out the price (in this case - an oil change) only when I get there.     "I brought my Mini Cooper in to fix the trunk (for a 3rd time) and to also check the air pressure in the tires, since the light kept coming on. The trunk was fixed & I was told I needed to pay $280 + tax for a new tire because there was a nail in one. I declined since I felt that was priced very high, took it to my own mechanic, and it was confirmed that there is NOT a nail in my tire. The pressue should be ~32 in each tire, and the Mini service department returned my car to me with the air pressure at ~27 in each tire.
